  • José Limón Dance Company
    to support its 50th anniversary season at The Joyce Theater in 1997.  The season's Gala performance was dedicated to Rudolf Nureyev.

  • Dance Theatre of Harlem
    RNDF supported the reconstruction of José Limón's The Moors Pavane  that premiered April 11, 1997.

  • Boston Ballet
    for the Boston Ballet production of Le Corsaire (The Pirate) that premiered March 27, 1997 and the publication of a 16 page souvenir book "In Tribute to Rudolf Nureyev".
    Restaged Rudolf Nureyev Choreography of Don Quixote for Boston Ballet's 40th Anniversary, 2003.- Performance Details
    Eugene O'Neill Memorial Theatre Foundation, Inc. & The Culture Center
    in support of The Culture Center's March 1997 symposium A Dancer's Legacy: A Tribute to Rudolf Nureyev.  The symposium was captured on videotape by the Dance Collection of the New York Public Library.

  • The Loudon Ballet Company
    to sponsor the Loudon Ballet Company's spring concert in 1997 and their production of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf.

  • American Ballet Theatre
    From 1997 through 1999 RNDF supported the presentation of four full-length ballets, Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle and Don Quixote.  The Foundation also underwrote the publication of a booklet to commemorate the 60th anniversary year of Rudolf's birth, which was published in time for ABT's fall 1998 engagement in New York and Kennedy Center.  For more information about Rudolf Nureyev and ABT:

  • Joffrey Ballet Chicago
    for a revival of Nijinsky's L'Apres Midi D'Un Faune in honor of Rudolf Nureyev - 1997.  2004 - "An Evening of Nureyev"

  • Nikolais/Louis Foundation
    to revive Moments - 1997, choreographed by Murray Louis for Rudolf Nureyev in 1975.

  • BAM, Brooklyn Academy of Music
    for the Spring 1998 Vaganova/Kirov project at BAM, dedicated to Rudolf Nureyev, the Vaganova Academy's and the Kirov's most legendary alumnus. 

  • Russian Ballet Theater of Delaware
    to the Russian Ballet Theater of Delaware in 1998 in support of their children's educational program. Review - 1996

    for a major new ballet, Echo: Far From Home, by Judith Jamison created for Alvin Ailey's 40th anniversary season in 1998.

    for their production of Eldar Aliev's world premiere of The Firebird in 1999 dedicated to Rudolf Nureyev.

  • Thirteen - WNET, PBS & American Ballet Theatre
    to introduce the full-length Le Corsaire to the American ballet audience "In memory of Rudolf Nureyev" shown as part of the PBS/Dance in America series in the 1999-2000 season to coincide with American Ballet Theatre's 60th anniversary.
